Events: The NNYLN Conference, "2010: Trends & Technology" will be held October 14 & 15, 2010 at St. Lawrence University, Canton.

A look at 1944 - WARTIME JULY FOURTH - "Independence Day, July Fourth, comes to us in wartime with special significance. The present experiences of battle and struggle help us to realize more vividly what our forefathers went through to obtain the independence of their country. Their effort was a tremendous example of self-sacrifice. They could have led more quiet and comfortable lives if they had accepted the tyranny to which their country was subjected."
