Alexandria Central School is known as the "home of the Purple
Ghosts." Our Ghost logo suggests power, be it athletic or scholastic. The addition of the library symbol recognizes that strength is also gained through the pursuit of knowledge.
The mission of the Alexandria Central School Library is to encourage all to be life-long readers and life-long seekers and effective users of information.
The Alexandria Central School Library Media Center is a combined elementary and high school facility. It serves more than 700 students as well as 60 members of the faculty and staff.
