The Canton Free Library provides a broad range of information resources including those available on the Internet. It is the policy of the Library to provide access to information in a variety of formats. The Internet is a vast network of interconnected sites linking millions of computers around the world. Its resources provide opportunities to access information that is not otherwise easily available. 

The Canton Free Library does not monitor and has no control over information accessed through the Internet and can not be held responsible for its contents or the contents of the sites linked to the Canton Free Library web page.

Not all Internet sources provide accurate, complete or current information.

Internet sites frequently change or close down and some sites may limit access.

Users are responsible for determining that the information they access is acceptable, reliable and suitable for their needs.

As with other library materials, restriction of a child’s access to the Internet is the responsibility of the parent.
