  • All computer users must sign a "limitation of liability" disclaimer.
  • All computer equipment and software must be used as installed. Users are not permitted to add, delete, or modify the installed hardware or software. E-mail, newsgroups and other restrictions must be observed.
  • If any user abuses, misuses or engages in any use of the computer equipment or software not authorized by the librarian, or introduces a virus, the user will be prohibited from using this service.
  • The use of the terminal is on a first-come, first-served basis. Each user is limited to a maximum of 60 minutes per day of use unless otherwise permitted by the librarian on duty and on one is waiting to use the terminal.
  • Use is limited to a maximum of two persons at at time. If two persons are using the terminal, their use is limited to 60 minutes at a time. Use by persons under age 12 is not permitted unless they are accompanied by an adult or older brother or sister.
  • Printing is limited to printing completed within the allotted daily 60 minutes of use. Printing will be stopped at the end of that time. Printing charges will be .10 per page when the library provides the paper, and .05 cents per page when paper is supplied by the user.
  • Users shall assume the full responsibility of learning to use the equipment and resources.
  • The rules of conduct which govern users of the library will extend to computer users. The sound volume should be kept low as not to disturb other library users. Anyone violating these rules may be asked to leave by the librarian, and may lose their access to the computer.
  • Anyone who damages the computer equipment or software will be held legally responsible for their replacement.
