Title: Microsoft Excel: Intermediate Level

Description: You use Excel, maybe a lot, but you’ve taught yourself and know there are easier ways to get the job done. Students will invest some time and fill in some holes in their spreadsheet knowledge. Explore things like spreadsheet navigation, keyboard shortcuts, finding the right function, simple "hidden" formulas, application options, easier formatting and much more. Students will also learn about: date and time functions, and auto formatting.

Title: Management Series: Essential Management Skills Part 2: Basic Practices: Motivating Employees, Delegating Work

Description: Essential Management Skills is a three part series of classes for people in management and supervisory positions. The series was created in response to requests from our members for basic management classes. In this second class of the series, the course will show managers and supervisors how to motivate employees to achieve better performance and how to delegate tasks and ensure the work is done right. Following the presentation, participants are invited to stay for a light lunch and continued discussion.

Description: Do you remember that Access workshop you took a while back? Remember, the one where the basics were practiced, but now it’s difficult to figure out how to move beyond that basic level. This workshop can help. It is designed for students with some basic background in Microsoft Access, but will address those specific questions in using this program. The class will include a brief overview, and then move to manipulation of data.
Students will learn how to:
       Link related data and create forms with subforms
       Use data in Access to create letters in Word
       Use data created in Word or Excel to import into Access
       Create complex queries with summation calculations and use them on reports
