Morristown Central School Library strives to prepare our students for personal success in the next century. During the past decade, the proliferation of information resources and the development of new technologies have led to great changes in our program. While we continue to maintain and build a quality print collection, our Library Computer Network gives our students access to a wide variety of electronic information sources held in-house as well as access to the vast storehouse of information available via the Internet. We are pleased to have been designated an Electronic Doorway Library by the State of New York.

At the present time, our Library Computer Network consists of 14 multi-media Pentium computers. We have met the challenge of serving a K-12 school community with our WinU menuing system. When students log onto our computer network, they are presented with a desktop of computer choices appropriate for their age level. It is our goal to begin training our students to be effective users of information at a young age and continue building their research skills so that they become life-long learners able to adapt to an ever changing world.
