DOCUMENTATION EXAMPLES

Examples for formatting your Works Cited Page

Center the title, Works Cited, an inch from the top of the page. Double-space between the title and the first entry. Arrange your sources in alphabetical order by the author's last name or the first important word in the title. Double space all entries, both between and within entries. Underline titles. Generally, an entry has three main divisions--author, title, and publication information--each followed by a period and one space. Begin each entry flush with the left margin. All entry information following the first line should be indented five spaces.
