Library HistoryThe Waddington Hepburn Library is one of eight libraries in Northern New York known as Hepburn Libraries. These libraries were founded by a donation from A. Barton Hepburn (left), a prominent New York City financier and philanthropist. Construction of the Waddington library began in 1919 and was completed in 1921. The Library was incorporated as a public library in 1921 and is currently chartered to serve a population of 2012. |
Community RoomThe Library's community room is available for use free of charge. The room has wireless ineternet service, a full kitchen, a projection screen, tables and chairs and handicap accessiblity. It can be reserved for use at no charge by contacting the library. |
