Spin-In:

Saturday March 13th
Attention spinners! Phyllis Brock will be hosting a Spin-In Saturday March 13th from 10:00am to 3:00pm in the library community room. Wool spinners from around the area are invited to participate and the community is invited to come and experience firsthand the process of spinning wool into yarn. Spinners should bring a bag lunch and beverages and dessert will be provided.

Knitting Circle

Do you knit or crochet? Would you like to learn? Join us every Monday from 11:00am to noon beginning January 11, 2010 in the library Community Room.

Census Employment Exam

February 26th and March 12th from 3:30pm to 5:30pm
The U.S. Census Bureau will be offering the Census Employment Exam on these dates in the library community room. This exam is part of the application process for the temporary jobs available this spring. For more information contact the library or stop by and pick up application information.

Make a Splash, READ!

This year's summer reading program will begin July 7th and continue through August 4th.We will have stories and crafts at the beach each Wednesday from 1:00pm to 3:00pm as well as our "Reading for Prizes" program and finale party. This year we will also be marching in the Homecoming Parade. Any child who completes the program will be invited to march in the parade with us!

Beginner Computer Class

The Library is offering a beginner class in computers in April. This class will be geared toward individuals with little to no experience with computers. The final dates and times not yet set. The class will consist of four one hour sessions. Class size is limited to 10 people. The class will be held in the main library. All materials will be provided and the class is free.

Battle of the Books Regional Tournament

The date of the regional tournament has been tentatively set for June 12th. The Location has not yet been announced.
